How much can I get for a violin made in germany in 1925 size 4/4 fully restored with new case and bow.
How much can i expect to pay for standard violin lessons?
I’m thinking that i’d probably like to take violin lessons starting in 2009. I don’t own a violin, and i’ve never taken lessons before. How much can i expect to pay for standard violin lessons? And would it be possible to borrow a violin from the teacher, or should i buy a used one?
Oh, and should i learn how to read music before i start taking lessons?
I’ve taken piano lessons before, but it was a loonnggg time ago, and i’ve long since forgotten most of it.

How much should I spend on a new violin?
I have been playing the violin for 6 years now and I want to purchase a new violin. I already have one now but its more of a beginner violin. Although I have only been playing for 6 years I am a really good player. But because I’ve only been playing for 6 years I don’t think I should spend a drastic amount for the violin. So how much should I invest into a new violin?

How much are violin strings and accessories?
I wanted to find out how much set of violin strings cost. I want something for average tempoed (is that a word?) music. Also, how much does rosin cost? And can a bow be restringed (or do I buy a new one, I am attached to the one I have)? How much is a tuner [not a pitch pipe]. I have kind of lost track with these things. I haven’t played in 3 years.

How much can I expect to pay for violin lessons?
I have always loved the violin, and now with my first real job, I want to start putting some money away for my first violin and some lessons. I know how much the instrument is going to cost me, but what should I expect as far as paying for lessons? Is it better to go to group lessons, or individual lessons? And what should I look for in an instructor?
